Baldwin Wallace University awards merit scholarships to accomplished first-year students
Nearly 600 first-year students welcomed to the Baldwin Wallace University campus this fall earned $7.7 million in merit scholarships for their outstanding high school achievements. BW grants a wide range of scholarships to current students each year. Including merit and need-based scholarships, BW students received over $48 million in financial support from the University for the 2018-2019 academic year.

Baldwin Wallace University Dean's List announced for spring 2018
The following students have been named to the Dean's List for the spring 2018 semester at Baldwin Wallace University according to Provost Stephen D. Stahl. Baldwin Wallace University students study off-campus in the spring 2018 semester
Twenty-seven students spent the spring 2018 semester away from BW learning off campus. With help from the BW Study Abroad Center's Independent Study program, students created individualized immersion experiences in Denmark, England, France, Ireland, Japan, Morocco, Russia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.

Baldwin Wallace University students 'Discover China'
Nineteen BW students participated in the "Discovering China" study abroad program, a transformative three-week experience in Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Beijing, during the spring 2018 semester. Exceptional women recognized at Baldwin Wallace University's 124th White Rose Ceremony
The White Rose Ceremony is held annually in memory of Philura Gould Baldwin, granddaughter of BW founder John Baldwin and BW's first librarian. An oration is given and select female graduates carry white roses in memory of Philura whose life was cut short by tuberculosis at age 26. While no criteria must be met, each woman must have distinguished herself by making a difference in the BW community.

Students earn Obie Bender Multicultural Awards at Baldwin Wallace University
BW celebrates outstanding multicultural students each spring at the Obie Bender Multicultural Awards ceremony. The awards are named for Dr. Obie Bender '62, who was an officer of the University for 36 years. Throughout his tenure, Bender provided exceptional leadership as a BW administrative liaison and was responsible for intercollegiate athletics, campus security and the health and physical education and recreation facilities.

Baldwin Wallace students blend public health and art in dance show
This spring, the BW theatre and dance community came together to present "fyoo zh en," the annual dance concert combining choreography with faculty member research. This year's show was inspired by Dr. Swagata Banik's National Institutes of Health-funded public health study "Project SHAKTI: Stigma reduction, Healthcare provider Awareness and Knowledge enhancement on Transgender issues in India."
